Will I be able to use GuestPoint Version 10 without training?
Absolutely, we designed the new browser-based version around the current version of GuestPoint. Therefore, the structure of the program is still split into familiar tabs including; Reservations, Customers, Accounts, Management, and Dashboard. Additionally, we have created a new Reports Tab. As a result, all of the reports previously spilt between the Accounts and Management tabs can be found in one new location.
Will GuestPoint Version 10 work on phones and tablets?
Yes, the new browser-based version of GuestPoint initially had been optimised to work on large screens down to small tablets. Therefore, version 10 will also work on phones, but we will be further optimising the mobile experience. Therefore, for the best experience, we would recommend using your computer or tablet.
Will I be able to use both the current and new versions of GuestPoint simultaneously?
Yes, the new browser-based version of GuestPoint can be used alongside the current GuestPoint Windows Application. As a result, any changes you make in either version will automatically update to the other version.
Do I have to use the new browser version?
No, the current GuestPoint Windows App will continue to operate as normal. In fact, we have no plans to discontinue the Windows Application.
Can we perform rollover on ANY computer if we use the browser version or are we still locked into using the master computer?
Yes, a daily rollover can be completed on either computer you’re using, whether you prefer version 9 or version 10. However, completing the rollover on the new version is likely to be more efficient as the system will be quicker.
Why should I upgrade to GuestPoint Version 10?
Finally, we highly recommended you upgrade to Version 10. The browser-based version will be our priority for future feature releases and performance improvements, so we highly recommended you upgrade to Version 10 for the best experience in the coming weeks and months.
